If you’re tired of feeling tired, this class can teach you how to balance the joy of eating with eating foods that fuel your long term well-being. You’ll learn how to relate differently to your eating habits and find greater enjoyment in the foods you eat. Being mindful while eating takes practice and in this four hour class with Mindfulness Guide, Susan Madden, you will practice recognizing and coping with physical sensations, emotions and automatic behaviors. 

Mindful eating is about using compassionate awareness to develop a balanced relationship with food. While this is not a weight loss class, mindful eating does teach you how to slow down and listen to hunger cues, eat when you’re hungry and stop when satisfied. Addressing why, when, what and how we eat is a journey. Together we’ll learn to be self-compassionate as we explore mindful eating.
